I have stayed here several times en route from Milwaukee to Minneapolis, especially when I've left too late to drive straight through. The front desk staff members are always exceptional and friendly. The 24-hour pool and hot tub are inviting and beautifully maintained. The rooms, though basic, are just fine and equipped with microwave and refrigerator. When I've had minor problems on occasion, the staff has attended to my needs promptly and efficiently. At Christmastime, my husband and I were given a treat to thank us for being frequent guests--this was unexpected and lovely.
Convenient and off the Interstate-94. Clean and comfortable rooms. Nice indoor pool and hot tub open 24-hours. Fast and easy check in by friendly staff. Over 100 miles of ATV trail access right from their parking lot and few walking distance restaurants. over all big thumbs up.
Nice room! They waved the pet fees which was very nice when traveling on a budget. Apparently possible pet fees are in really fine print even though booking shows it pet friendly yet doesn't state what those fees are. It would be nice to know in advance but as explained its not the hotels fault. So kudos to the hotel! The pet room was on the 1st floor with linoleum floors. PERFECT!!! Thank you.
The room was clean and odor free. The price was great at $60/night plus tax. The "free" breakfast was pretty much what you can expect for free. It was better than a continental breakfast. The pool and hot tub was open 24 hours, which was nice as we got back to our room at midnight and could still enjoy the pool area that late. The sauna was out of service. The towels in both the room and pool area were pretty small and rough. Overall, for the price, the room and accommodations were a great deal. I would stay there again.
The main floor hallway smelled strongly of marijuana. Someone tried to steal our rear tire overnight. Didn't realize this was such a sketchy location. The parking lot was not ploughed when we arrived in the evening nor before we left in the morning making it diificult to navigate. The breakfast was good and the indoor pool was nice though the hot tub was full of shampoo bubbles and had some chemical imbalances.
